Competency Areas
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man (and woman) of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is the expression of the caring partnership between members of the learning community (students, staff, and parents), the Church and the wider community. It aims to integrate the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual dimensions so that an atmosphere of care pervades the whole learning community.
Practical & Liturgical Skills
Practical skills are essential to prepare individuals for Christian service. Christian liturgy is a pattern for worship used (whether recommended or prescribed) by a Christian congregation or denomination on a regular basis. The term liturgy comes from Greek and means "public work". It includes baptism, communion, singing, prayer, sermons, the altar call and more.
Community Involvement
Community involvement is meaningful, consistent participation in activities that support and improve social well-being. Community involvement includes engaging with, volunteering for, or donating to local schools, neighbourhood associations, government, and nonprofit organizations.
